O tema da presente pesquisa é a presença do narcisismo na pós-modernidade. O estudo acerca da sobrevalorização dos filhos pelos pais é um elemento que não pode ser desprezado no processo educacional, porque trata da formação humana e gera dificuldades não apenas ao indivíduo, mas também à coletividade envolvida nas etapas de formação da pessoa. A problematização consiste na identificação de como o narcisismo está presente na atualidade. Precisamente, busca-se identificar a interferência parental na formação do padrão de comportamento em análise, bem como as consequências geradas na contemporaneidade. Pretende-se advertir sobre a provável banalização das condutas da sociedade pós-moderna, expressão utilizada a partir da concepção sociológica de Zygmunt Bauman. O método de pesquisa adotado é o hipotético-dedutivo, mediante instrumento qualitativo e ampla análise bibliográfica.

The theme of this research is the presence of narcissism in postmodernity. The study on the overvaluation of children by parents is an element that cannot be overlooked in the educational process, because it deals with human formation and creates problems not only in the individual, but also in the community involved in the person's training stages. A problematization consists in the identification of how narcissism is present today. Precisely, try to identify parental interference in the formation of the behavior pattern under analysis, as well as consequences generated in contemporary times. It is intended to announce about a probable trivialization of the conduct of postmodern society, an expression used based on the sociological use of Zygmunt Bauman. The research method adopted is the hypothetical deductive, using the qualitative instrument and extensive bibliographic analysis.
