Neste artigo analisamos a educação formal estatal por meio de estudos sobre História da Educação no Brasil, a partir de que a Escola, entendida como lócus de educação pública sempre cumpriu o papel esperado por suas polÃticas, não estando nem aquém, nem além de uma sociedade, mas servindo ao regime polÃtico vigente e organizador desta mesma sociedade. Nesta linha de pensamento adotamos as categorias de permanência e de “servidão†institucional para corroborar a tese de que vimos afirmar.
This article analyzes the formal state public education through studies on the
History of Education in Brazil, from the thesis that the school, understood as a locus of public
education has always fulfilled the role expected by its policies, not being short, nor beyond a
society, but serving the current political regime and organizer of that society. With this in mind
we have adopted the categories of permanence and institutional "servitude" to support the
theory that we have asserted herein.
