O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a releitura da História na literatura escrita por
mulheres e verificar como essa releitura reordena e completa o passado, favorecendo a
reconstrução identitária dos sujeitos históricos femininos (CUNHA, 2004). A partir do
questionamento da historiografia oficial (BENJAMIN, 1985) e dos conceitos de metaficção
historiográfica (HUTCHEON, 1999), analisam-se as obras El pergamino de la seducción
(2005), da escritora nicaraguense Gioconda Belli e Malinche (2006), da mexicana Laura
Esquivel. Nessas obras, ao dar voz a duas personagens ex-cêntricas, as autoras propõem
recontar uma nova versão dos fatos históricos desde uma perspectiva feminina, resgatando das
margens da historiografia oficial as figuras da rainha Joana I de Castilha e da Ãndia mexicana
Malinche. Através do diálogo com a história, as narrativas problematizam o passado histórico
por meio da literatura e contribuem para desarticular as categorias conceituais de verdade,
discurso e identidade. Também contestam as formas de representação das personagens no
passado histórico e reafirmam a individualidade feminina em um mundo dominado pelo
sujeito masculino. Dessa forma, as personagens criadas fogem do estereótipo feminino que
prima pela submissão à voz masculina e pela negação do conhecimento e do poder. Com isso,
os textos revelam uma intervenção transgressora à história oficial: devolvem às figuras
femininas de Joana e Malinalli o lugar que a História e a sociedade lhes recusaram,
reconstruindo o discurso historiográfico oficial espanhol e hispano-americano.
This study aims to analyze the rereading of history in literature written by women and check
how this rereading redefines and complete the past, favoring the identity reconstruction of
those feminine historical subjects (CUNHA, 2004). Beginning with the questioning of official
histography (BENJAMIN, 1985) and the concepts of historiographic metafiction
(HUTCHEON, 1999), the following work are put to test El pergamino de la seduccion
(2005), of the Nicaraguian writer Gioconda Belli and Malinche(2006), of the Mexican Laura
Esquivel. On those works, the authors propose retelling, when giving voice to two ex centric
characters, a new version of the historical facts on a feminine perspective, reclaiming from the
official histography borders the figures of the queen Joana I from Castilha and the Mexican
Indian Malinche. Through dialogue with the history, the narratives problematize the historical
past through literature and contribute to dismantling the conceptual categories of truth,
discourse and identity. Also contesting the ways of characters’ representation in the historical
past and reaffirming their individuality in a world dominated by male subject. Thus, the
created characters go beyond the female stereotypical, known as stressed by a male voice
submission and a denial of knowledge and power. In this way, the texts are opened to a
transgressive intervention in official history: returning the feminine figures of Joana e
Malinalli to the place History and society have denied, rebuilding the official Spanish and
Spanish American historiographical discourse.
