O Patrimônio Cultural compreende todos os bens de natureza material
e imaterial que façam referência à identidade e à memória de uma
sociedade em particular, é, na atualidade, importante instrumento
pedagógico para o exercício da cidadania. Nesse sentido, os espaços
sagrados, por sua marcante presença na paisagem local, podem tornar-
se instrumento para práticas educativas. A presente pesquisa
bibliográfica-qualitativa tem o objetivo de fazer uma reflexão a respeito
da educação patrimonial em espaços sagrados, com ênfase nas
potencialidades da arte sacra cristã como recurso educativo. Assim,
primeiramente é feita uma breve análise sobre a criação do conceito de
patrimônio cultural, histórico e características. Depois, faz uma análise
sobre as principais características dos espaços sagrados. O terceiro
momento traz reflexões sobre a importância da educação patrimonial
nos espaços sagrados. Os resultados apontam que embora as discussões
sobre o assunto ainda sejam recentes é possível perceber que o ser
humano necessita da materialidade das coisas para poder sentir-se e
expressar-se, de forma especial, em sua religiosidade. Nesse sentido, a
promoção da educação patrimonial em espaços sagrados estimula a
sensibilidade do indivíduo, possibilita o alargamento do conhecimento
e contribui para seu o desenvolvimento cognitivo e afetivo.
The cultural heritage comprises all assets of material and immaterial nature
that refer to identity and memory of a particular society, is, today, an
important educational tool for the exercise of citizenship. In this sense, the
sacred spaces, for its strong presence in the local landscape can become an
instrument for educational practices. This literature-qualitative research aims
to make a reflection on the heritage education in sacred spaces, emphasizing the
potential of Christian sacred art as an educational resource. Thus, it is first
made a brief analysis of the creation of the concept of cultural heritage, history
and characteristics. Then an analysis of the main characteristics of sacred
spaces.The third moment reflects on the importance of heritage education in
sacred spaces. The results show that while the discussions on the subject are
still recent you can see that the human being needs the materiality of things in
order to feel and express themselves in a special way in his religiosity. In this
sense, the promotion of heritage education in sacred spaces stimulates the
sensitivity of the individual, enables the extension of knowledge and
contributes to its the congnitivo and emotional development.
