Com inspiração nas ideias de Pierre Bourdieu e da sociologia econômica, o artigo busca reconhecer o Estado e o mercado como instituições datadas historicamente no tempo e no espaço, negando a divisão social do trabalho do século 18 que “definiu” o mercado como objeto da economia e o Estado como objeto dos demais cientistas sociais. Com o apoio de dados resultantes de pesquisas empíricas sobre o mercado de fundos de pensão durante o Governo Lula, o texto argumenta sobre uma possível convergência entre Estado e mercado sendo o primeiro responsável pela criação das categorias de pensamento vigentes no mercado no período analisado. Indica, ainda que de forma ensaística, as alterações trazidas no mercado de fundos de pensão pelo Governo Temer, pontuando o surgimento de novas relações entre Estado e mercado, distintas daquelas presentes no Governo Lula.
With inspiration from Pierre Bourdieu's ideas and economic sociology, the article seeks to recognize the State and the market as institutions historically dated in time and space, denying the social division of labor of the 18th century, that "set" the market as the object of economy and the state as the object of other social scientists. With the support of evidence from empirical research on the market for pension funds during the Lula government, the text argues for a possible convergence between state and market, the first responsible for the creation of categories of thought prevailing in the market during the period. Also indicates that the essayistic form, the changes introduced in the market of pension funds by the government Temer, punctuating the emergence of new relations between State and market, distinct from those present in the Lula government.
