O artigo apresenta o referencial teórico de estratégias de diversificação para o desenvolvimento da agricultura familiar, utilizando como ferramenta analítica o método de Visão Baseada em Recursos, direcionado à sua aplicação no contexto rural. Essa dá ênfase aos recursos que potencializam a capacidade e o desempenho econômico da agricultura familiar. Inicialmente o artigo recupera o contexto de agricultura familiar. Faz então considerações sobre a Visão Baseada em Recursos e a diversificação da agricultura, investigando os referenciais a partir dos autores principais. Assim, apresenta o estatuto teórico da abordagem e analisa seu potencial para com os estudos sobre as potencialidades do método em prol da diversificação na agricultura familiar.
The article presents the theoretical reference of diversification strategies for the development of family agriculture, using as an analytical tool the Resource Based View method, directed to its application in the rural context. This emphasizes the resources that enhance the capacity and economic performance of family agriculture. Initially the article recovers the context of family farming. It then makes considerations about the Resource Based View and the diversification of agriculture, investigating the references from the main authors. Thus, it presents the theoretical status of the approach and analyzes its potential for studies on the potential of the method for diversification in family agriculture.
