O presente artigo proporciona um levantamento panorâmico sobre a Literatura Comparada, a fim de subsidiar a presente análise que tem como corpus de pesquisa os romances latinoamericanos Ciranda de Pedra, da brasileira Lygia Fagundes Telles e A Casa dos Espíritos, da chilena Isabel Allende. Neles investigamos como as relações familiares, ou melhor, os dramas familiares refletem ou até mesmo metaforizam a atmosfera da época documentada pelas autoras. Desta forma, a discussão proposta vem tornar possível uma análise comparatista que pode ser estabelecida entre a produção literária de Lygia e Allende, nos proporcionando um diálogo entre literatura brasileira e literatura hispano-americana, através da produção literária de duas autoras engajadas na vida política e social de seus países de origem. A literatura e o pensamento pós-guerra na prosa latino-americana são trabalhados pelas autoras por meio de uma linguagem instigante que vai desde reflexões concernentes a sociedade patriarcal até uma escrita que debruça-se sobre a ditadura na América Latina.

The present article provides a panoramic rising on the Literature Compared in the literary extent, in order to subsidize to present analysis that has as research corpus the novels Latin-American Ciranda de Pedra, by Brazilian Lygia Fagundes Telles and A Casa dos Espíritos, by Chilean Isabel Allende. In them, we investigated as the relationships family, or better, the family dramas contemplate or even metaphor the atmosphere of the time documented by the authors. This way, the proposed discussion comes to turn possible an analysis comparison that can be established between literary production by Lygia and Allende, providing us a dialogue between Brazilian literature and Hispano-American literature, through the two authors' literary production engaged in the political and social life of their countries of origin. The literature and the post-war thinking in Latin American prose are worked by the authors through an exciting language that goes from reflections concerning the patriarchal society to a writing that focuses on the dictatorship in Latin American.
