O sujeito, mediante à excessiva cobrança de produção no trabalho, passa a apresentar sintomas de um adoecimento mental e a desenvolver alguns transtornos mentais. O trabalho não é o único causador desse sofrimento e desgaste. Há também todo um contexto fora daquele ambiente, o qual se constitui em uma esfera biopsicossocial. Sendo assim, faz-se necessário discutir sobre a categoria trabalho, os fatores adversos que podem afetar à subjetividade do trabalhador, identificando os elementos que interferem na relação trabalho e adoecimento por transtornos mentais. A partir desse cenário, o presente artigo apresenta uma revisão do tipo escopo à luz dos fatores que contribuem para o adoecimento relacionado ao trabalho. Como resultado dos estudos, verificou-se que os Transtornos Mentais vêm se destacando em relação às demais doenças no ambiente de trabalho, embora ainda haja pouco estudos relativos a essa condição. Foi possível concluir, por meio da revisão de literatura, que os transtornos mentais são uma condição recorrente na vida do trabalhador.

The subject, through excessive demand for production at work, starts to show symptoms of mental illness and develop some mental disorders. Work is not the only cause of this suffering and wear. The outside context that environment also is a problem which constitutes the biopsychosocial sphere. Thus, it is necessary to discuss about the work category, the adverse factors that may affect the subjectivity of the worker, identifying the elements that interfere in the relationship work and illness due to mental disorders. Thus, the present article presents a scope review in light of the factors that contribute to workrelated illness. As a result of the studies, it was found that Mental Disorders have been outstanding in relation to other diseases in the workplace, although there are still few studies related to this condition. It was possible to conclude, through the literature review, that mental disorders are a recurrent condition in the worker's life.
