Nos últimos anos, a evolução no volume de operações de securitização de recebíveis do agronegócio tornaram-se expressivos no mercado de capitais. Dada a importância do agronegócio no desenvolvimento da economia do Brasil, o objetivo geral desta pesquisa é analisar a evolução da securitização de recebíveis do agronegócio entre 2011 e 2016, fonte alternativa de captação de recursos. Os objetivos específicos são: descrever a estrutura de operação de securitização; expor o ponto de vista de especialistas sobre a securitização. A pesquisa tem carater exploratório que utilizou como método a análise de dados secundários e entrevistas estruturadas com especialistas do mercado de capitais. Os resultados apontam grande evolução da securitização de recebíveis do agronegócio, por meio indicadores como o crescimento de 500% de securitizadoras entre 2011 e 2016. As ofertas públicas, entre 2011 e 2013 atingiram R$ 1 (um) bilhão de reais e somente em 2016, atingiram R$ 9,5 (nove bilhões e quinhentos milhões) de reais. Conclui-se que o setor evoluiu principalmente nos últimos 3 (três) anos e ainda está em fase de expansão, e nos próximos anos estará em fase de consolidação, como a principal fonte de captação de recursos dos agentes que participam do agronegócio. Esta pesquisa justifica-se pela necessidade de apresentação da securitização como fonte alternativa de captação de recursos e contribui para o conhecimento da securitização por originadores e investidores.

In recent years, the volume of operations of securitization of agribusiness receivables has become significant in the capital market. Given the importance of agribusiness in the development of the Brazilian economy, the general objective of this research is to analyze the evolution of the securitization of agribusiness receivables between 2011 and 2016, an alternative source of fundraising. The specific objectives are: to describe the structure of the securitization operation; expose the point of view of experts on securitization. The research has exploratory character that used as method the analysis of secondary data and interviews structured with specialists of the capital market. The results point to a great evolution in the securitization of agribusiness receivables, through indicators such as the 500% growth of securitizations between 2011 and 2016. The public offers between 2011 and 2013 reached R$ 1 (one) billion and only in 2016 , reached R$ 9.5 (nine billion and five hundred million) reais. It is concluded that the sector has evolved mainly in the last 3 (three) years and is still in the expansion phase, and in the next few years will be in the consolidation phase, as the main source of fundraising for agents that participate in agribusiness. This research is justified by the need to present securitization as an alternative source of fundraising and contributes to the knowledge of securitization by originators and investors.
