Este trabalho propõe a leitura de Antes de nascer o mundo, de Mia Couto, a partir da dialética entre o
particular e o universal, focalizando especificamente a relação entre o exÃlio e a configuração da
identidade.
This paper aims at an interpretation of Mia Couto’s Antes de nascer o mundo, starting from the
dialectics between the particular and the universal, focusing specifically on the relationship between
exile and identity configuration.
