The history of European
social thought has barely noticed on
this corporate dimension in the
conceptualization of many of their
teachers, characterisc of a time when
the proposals took on special force
to bring the “organizated labor”
(corporation, association) as the
basis of representation in the Social
State. And on this historic route, the
French sociologist Emile Durkheim
is a sign of the limits and
possibilities of corporatism as a
social doctrine.

La historia de pensamiento
social europeo apenas ha advertido
sobre la dimensión corporativa
presente en la teorización de muchos
de sus maestros, propia de un tiempo
donde cobraron especial fuerza las
propuestas para situar al “trabajo
organizado” (corporativo, sindical)
como base de la representación política
y jurídica del Estado social. Y en este
itinerario histórico, el sociólogo francés
Èmile Durkheim es una muestra de
los límites y posibilidades del
Corporativismo como doctrina social.
