Resumos Cadastrados

The present report of experience aims to make visible the work of the NUDIJUS (Núcleo de Estudos Aplicados Direitos, Infância e Justiça - Nucleus of Applied Studies Rights, Childhood and Justice), especially in its extensionist bias. Based on the engagement of students and professionals in law and social sciences and humanities, this academic collective deals with themes related to the human rights of children and adolescents, promoting exchanges with other courses, faculties, social movements and public and private institutions. In a participatory manner, we held the National Juvenile Justice Restoration Week and the I Regional Interdisciplinary Meeting on the Rights of Children and Youth, in articulation with entities such as: OAB (Order of Attorneys of Brazil), Cedeca-Ceará, Fórum DCA and the organization Terre des Hommes (Tdh). At the occasion, we promoted formative and integrative activities, presentation of work, technical visits, lecture, intervention with children, launching of publications, as the objective to stimulate practices of valorization of the culture of peace and of children and adolescents as subjects of rights. Based on a dialogical, qualitative and participatory research methodology, this initiative is described. As a result, the realization of the social function of the university and the democratization of knowledge about restorative justice are achieved, reaching an audience of about 500 people, directly and indirectly.
