O objetivo deste artigo é analisar a internacionalização do movimento sindical a partir do (estudo de) caso Gerdau, considerando seu diálogo com a Federação Internacional de Trabalhadores das Indústrias Metalúrgicas (FITIM) e outras Organizações Internacionais (OIs) em um cenário de redes sociais que atuam através de diversos nÃveis (nacional, regional e/ou internacional). Partiremos da observação do relacionamento da multinacional brasileira Gerdau com a FITIM e os trabalhadores das plantas nos paÃses em que a empresa possui operações.
Resumo Inglês:
The aim of this article is to analyze the internationalization of the labor movement from the Gerdau case, considering its dialogue with the International Metalworkers’ Federation (IMF) and other international organizations (IOs) in a setting of social networks that act through different levels (national, regional and/or international). We begin observing of the relationship of the Brazilian multinational Gerdau with the IMF and the workers of the plants in countries where the company operates.
