In year 2010, I am celebrated in Colombia the Bicentennial of the national Independence, which served to make all a series of commemorative events supported by governmental organizations, which him to stamp the seal of one of official celebration. This communication approaches other elements that we have denominated like “uses†of the Bicentennial, following a study of the investigator Eric Hobsbawm respect to the Bicentennial of the French Revolution, defined with the expression: “everybody had its French Revolutionâ€. From equal way in this Colombian Bicentennial several institutions have taken the event to have, “parodiando†to Hobsbawm, “its own bicentennialâ€. The exhibition approaches an analysis of the diverse images that were produced by other voices different from the officials to talk about to the Bicentennial where the use or abuse of the commemoration stands out. The images were gathered together in the city of Bogotá in a species of ethnographic work.
En el año 2010 se celebro en Colombia el Bicentenario de la Independencia Nacional, el cual sirvió para realizar toda una serie de eventos conmemorativos auspiciados por entidades gubernamentales, lo que le imprimió el sello de una de fiesta oficial. Esta ponencia aborda otros elementos que hemos denominado como “usos†del Bicentenario, siguiendo un estudio del investigador Eric Hobsbawm respecto del Bicentenario de la Revolución Francesa, definido con la expresión: “todo el mundo tuvo su Revolución Francesaâ€. De igual manera en este Bicentenario colombiano varias instituciones han tomado el acontecimiento para tener, parodiando a Hobsbawm, “su propio bicentenarioâ€. La exposición aborda un análisis de las diversas imágenes que fueron producidas por otras voces diferentes de las oficiales para referirse al Bicentenario donde se destaca el uso o abuso de la conmemoración. Las imágenes fueron acopiadas en la ciudad de Bogotá en una especie de trabajo etnográfico.
