A FIRMA COMO UM AGENTE NA VISÃO DE SISTEMA COMPLEXO ADAPTATIVO

Este artigo se tem por objetivo analisar a firma, nos moldes da
teoria evolucionária, mostrando que ela pode ser tratada na visão de
Sistema Complexo Adaptativo como um agente que modifica suas
estruturas e estratégias em função do ambiente e da interação com os
outros agentes. Para analisar a firma sob a abordagem de Sistemas
Complexos Adaptativos é necessário considerá-la como um conjunto de
regras de decisões. Tal forma de análise é cabível, pois a teoria do SCA
apresenta um elevado nível de interação, quando comparada à teoria da
firma que se caracteriza por uma abordagem mais “direta”. Assim sendo
para cumprir o objetivo do presente artigo foi necessário reconstruir a firma
em torno do seu processo de decisão. Ao final da exposição, pôde-se
concluir que a firma é um agente adaptativo vivendo em um ambiente
complexo. Sua capacidade de adaptação se dá a partir do aprendizado
que, por sua vez, modifica as condições do ambiente e exerce grandes
impactos sobre o ambiente competitivo.

This paper aims to analyze the firm, along the lines of
evolutionary theory, showing that it can be treated in the vision of Complex
Adaptive System as an agent that modifies its structures and strategies
depending on the environment and interaction with other agents. To
analyze the firm under the approach of Adaptive Complex Systems is
necessary to consider it as a set of decision rules. This form of analysis is
appropriate, since the theory of ACS has a high level of interaction as
compared to theory of the firm characterized by a more "direct". Therefore
to fulfill the objective of this article was to rebuild the company around its
decision making process. At the end of the exhibition, it was concluded that
the firm is an adaptive agent living in a complex environment. Their ability to adapt occurs from learning that, in turn, modifies the conditions of the
environment and exerts great impact on the competitive environment.
