Fisioterapia e suporte social na ótica de mães de bebês prematuros

Objetivo: Conhecer a perspectiva de mães de bebês prematuros em relação à sua participação em grupos temáticos em mídia social, na busca de cuidado qualificado para o filho, em especial sobre a estimulação precoce. Método: Trata-se de um estudo observacional, que utilizou como método de análise a etnografia virtual com observação participativa em um grupo aberto online brasileiro, hospedado na rede social Facebook®, que reúne mães de crianças que nasceram prematuras. Resultados: Participaram do estudo nove mães. A análise dos dados permitiu a sistematização dos resultados em duas unidades temáticas: 1) a experiência de participar de um grupo temático sobre prematuridade na internet, onde foi observado o sentido e o significado de compartilhar em um grupo online a experiência de ter um filho prematuro; 2) a importância da fisioterapia para o filho prematuro, referindo-se ao reconhecimento das mães participantes do grupo online quanto à relevância da fisioterapia no cuidado do filho prematuro. Conclusão: Redes de apoios e grupos temáticos, como o grupo de mães de bebês prematuros na rede social Facebook®, permitem a troca de conhecimentos e experiências, propiciando a construção de vínculos e o empoderamento dessas mães. Ademais, observou-se o reconhecimento da importância da fisioterapia na estimulação precoce do prematuro.

Objective: To know the perspective of mothers of premature babies in relation to their participation in thematic groups on social media, in the search for qualified care for their child, especially regarding early stimulation. Method: This is an observational study, analyzed by the virtual ethnography method, with participatory observation, in an open online Brazilian group, hosted on the social network Facebook®, which gathers mothers of children who were born premature. Results: 9 mothers participated in the study. The analysis of the data allowed the systematization of the results in two thematic units: 1) the experience of participating in a thematic group on prematurity on the internet, where it was observed the meaning and the meaning of sharing in an online group the experience of having a premature child ; 2) the importance of physical therapy for premature children, referring to the recognition of mothers participating in the online group regarding the relevance of physical therapy in the care of premature children. Conclusion: Support networks and thematic groups, such as the group of mothers of premature babies on the Facebook® social network, allow the exchange of knowledge and experiences, enabling the construction of bonds and the empowerment of these mothers. In addition, there was a recognition of the importance of physiotherapy in the premature stimulation of premature infants.
