A FLORESTA LABIRÍNTICA: UMA ANÁLISE DA “FLORESTA DAS TREVAS” NA OBRA O HOBBIT DE J.R.R.TOLKIEN

Um labirinto representa um estado do ser que está perdido. A situação labiríntica se apresenta não somente em labirintos em forma, com suas curvas, caminhos emaranhados e com sua difícil travessia para a chegada ao centro ou ao fim. Os labirintos podem se apresentar de diversas formas ao viajante que está em busca de algo, ou seja, daqueles com o propósito de chegar a determinado lugar no fim de sua jornada. Neste sentido, este artigo pretende realizar uma análise da passagem pela “Floresta das Trevas”, um dos caminhos atravessados na aventura contada na obra O Hobbit (1937) do escritor J.R.R.Tolkien. Ao passarem por essa floresta misteriosa, os personagens em jornada irão se deparar com sensações e sentimentos de um estado labiríntico, de perda, esquecimento, e de extrema necessidade de se chegar ao fim dessa floresta.

A labyrinth, besides being a space with many twisting and strange paths, it represents a state of being and finding oneself lost. The labyrinthine situation not only presents itself in shaped mazes, with its curves, tangled trails and its difficult crossing to the center or end. Labyrinths are revealed in various ways to the traveler who is looking for something, that is, for the purpose of reaching a certain place at the end of his journey. In this sense, this article intends to analyze the passage through the “Forest of Darkness”, one of the places crossed in the adventure told in the book The Hobbit of 1937 by the writer J.R.R.Tolkien. Passing through this mysterious forest, the characters on the journey will come across sensations and feelings of a labyrinthine state of loss, oblivion, and the utmost need to reach the end of this place, so they can continue their homecoming adventure.
