This paper has as its point of departure to explore feasible paths of dialogue between the literature taught at college level and some strands that underlie the school fabric: narrative, language and memory. We seek to highlight a setting where both the student and the teacher are able to act as subjects of their own histories and authors/ actors of their own words. This means to look for a pedagogical path capable of fostering the use and exploration of language practices in the literature classes, by means of both written and oral materials. We seek thus to highlight a dialogical path of literature teaching, where both authors, story tellers and readers are capable of changing their places in order recover and individual memories
