O presente trabalho tem como intento a apropriação do fazer teatral enquanto fonte para a discussão e a compreensão das questões sociais de seu tempo, por meio do movimento de teatro amador desenvolvido na cidade de Sobral, localizada no Estado do Ceará, nas últimas décadas do século XX. Procurando analisar tal produção tanto em seu texto, presente nos sentidos e intencionalidades do enredo e da cena; quanto em seu contexto, ou seja, as condições de sua produção e sua inserção na realidade social e cultural, onde atores e atrizes (sociais) se inserem no cenário da cidade, praticando e intervindo nela por meio da arte.
Resumo Inglês:
This work has as purpose the appropriation of doing theater as a source for discussion and understanding of the social issues of his time, through the amateur theater movement developed in the city of Sobral-CE in the last decades of the twentieth century. Looking analyze this production both in your text, in this sense and intentions of the plot and the scene; as in its context, ie, the conditions of its production and its place in the social and cultural reality, where actors and actresses (social) fall within the city scenery, practicing and intervening in it through art.
