O artigo tematiza a formação de educadores em perspectiva freireana. Tem como objetivo analisar a presença e atualidade do pensamento educacional de Paulo Freire na formação de educadores do Programa Brasil Alfabetizado, de Ananindeua-PA. Consiste em uma pesquisa de campo de abordagem qualitativa. Realizou-se levantamento bibliográfico e documental para subsidiar a análise dos dados, coletados por meio de entrevistas e da técnica Grupo Focal. Os sujeitos foram: a gestora local, uma coordenadora e três educadoras. Constatam-se categorias do quefazer educativo freireano nos documentos analisados e nas falas dos sujeitos da pesquisa. Conclui-se que o pensamento educacional de Paulo Freire ressignifica-se como frente de libertação ante um contexto social capitalista desumanizante e excludente.
The article focuses on the formation of educators from a Freire perspective. It aims to analyze the presence and actuality of Paulo Freire's educational thought in the training of educators of the Brasil Alfabetizado Program, in Ananindeua-PA. It consists of field research with a qualitative approach. A bibliographic and documentary survey was carried out to support the analysis of the data, collected through interviews and the Focal Group technique. The subjects were: the local manager, a coordinator, and three educators. There are categories of what Freire's educational activity does in the analyzed documents and the speeches of the research subjects. It is concluded that the educational thought of Paulo Freire resignifies itself as a liberation front in the face of a dehumanizing and excluding social capitalist context.
