Nos últimos anos assistiuse, se não a uma revolução epistemológica, a algumas transformações significativas na interpretação e escrita da História. Buscou-se superar um tempo em que se trabalhava sempre as mesmas técnicas de investigação, fontes e temas. No presente texto, a partir da concomitante experiência de trabalho como docente de ensino superior e historiógrafa do Arquivo Histórico do Rio Grande do Sul, analisa-se asvdificuldades para que o processo de renovação historiográfica penetre no ensino superior privado noturno dos cursos de História.

Formation of professors
and nocturnal private education:
one soon reflection on superior
courses of History. In recent years
it was attended, if not to a epistemológical
revolution, some significant
transformations in the interpretation
and writing of History.
One searched to surpass a time
where if it always worked the same
techniques of inquiry, also folloied
of the same sources and subjects.
In the present text, from the concomitant
experience of working as
a teacher in higher education and
historiógrafa the Historical Archive
of Rio Grande do Sul, analyzes
the difficulties so that the process
of historiographical renewal penetrates
in the nocturnal private superior
education of the courses of
History.
