FRAGMENTOS NARRATIVOS EM PROL DA ARGUMENTAÇÃO DE EDITORIAS DO JORNAL A GAZETA

Baseando-nos em “As inserções narrativas como estratégia argumentativa em editoriais de A Gazeta”, analisamos fragmentos narrativos usados argumentativamente no editorial do jornal citado. Com vistas a comprovar a hipótese, fundamentamo-nos em pressupostos da Teoria da Argumentação, segundo Perelman & Olbrechts-Tyteca (1996) e Koch (1984), e da Pragmática, conforme Teoria da Relevância, de Sperber & Wilson (2001), considerando, então, aspectos cotextuais e contextuais. Para identificar as inserções narrativas, apoiamo-nos na definição de Labov (1972). Sendo o corpus um editorial de jornal impresso, utilizamos também pesquisas de Beltrão (1980) e de Melo (1985) para o embasamento jornalístico. A análise perpassa, assim, os âmbitos jornalístico, narrativo e argumentativo. O corpus utilizado neste trabalho foi publicado em A Gazeta em 22-09-2008. A partir da ancoragem teórica e das análises, observa-se que as inserções narrativas são uma estratégia argumentativa no editorial, porque atuam como instrumento de contextualização, de credibilidade e de argumentação por autoridade polifônica.

Based on “Narrative insertions as argumentative strategies in A Gazeta editorials”, we analyse narrative fragments have been used in the paper‟s editorial said. In order to evidence the process that makes possible the supported hypothesis, the study is underlained on the presuppositions of the Argumentation Theory, according to Perelman & Olbrechts-Tyteca (1996) and Ingedore Koch (1984), and of the Pragmatics, according to Relevance Theory, by Sperber & Wilson (2001), having as support, then, inside and outside text contexts. In order to identify the insertion narratives, we underlay specially in Labov (1972). And, as the basis of analyze is the editorial of press journal, we also use Beltrão´s researches (1980) and Melo´s (1985) to journalistic gender sustentation. Analyze pass by, then, journalistic, narrative and argumentative ambit. The corpus of the research is composed by five editorials published in A Gazeta press journal 09-22-2008. From the theoretical basis and proposed analyzes, it‟s observed that the narratives insertions are an argumentative strategy on the editorial textual gender because they act as context, credibility and polyphonic authority argumentation instrument.
