Este estudo analisou a pesquisa científica sobre o microempreendedor individual no Brasil nos últimos 5 anos. Utilizando uma revisão da literatura, foram pesquisados 47 artigos na base de dados SPELL, com palavras-chave como "empreendedorismo individual" e "microempreendedor individual". Dos 47 artigos, 16 foram excluídos por repetição e 21 não abordavam o tema proposto, restando 10 estudos para análise. Os resultados foram apresentados em duas etapas: quantitativa e qualitativa. Concluiu-se que há uma escassez de pesquisas sobre microempreendedor individual no Brasil, indicando a necessidade de mais estudos nessa área.
This study analyzed the scientific research on the individual microentrepreneur in Brazil in the last 5 years. Using a literature review, 47 articles were searched in the SPELL database, with keywords such as "individual entrepreneurship" and "individual microentrepreneur". Of the 38 articles, 16 were excluded due to repetition and 21 did not address the proposed theme, leaving 10 studies for analysis. The results were presented in two steps: quantitative and qualitative. It was concluded that there is a lack of research on individual microentrepreneurs in Brazil, indicating the need for further studies in this area.
