O objetivo deste ensaio é refletirsobre a importância do investimento e de um olhar atento por parte da Gestão Escolar na área de Educação Física Escolar, em relação às condições estruturais e materiais de trabalho, as relações humanas e a formação do corpo docente.Ao longo do texto apresento os aspectos que devem ser levados em consideração pela Gestão Escolar para um pleno aproveitamento da disciplina Educação Física no âmbito das instituições escolares. Em síntese considero que a Educação Física, como disciplina, pertence à estrutura curricular da escola e, consequentemente, ao meio social; que um dos mais significativos problemas relacionados ao conhecimento desta área é a pobre utilização do mesmo pela escola e pela sociedade, o que sugere a cultura da descrença e a do não investimento, marginalizando o componente curricular e reforçando a hierarquização de saberes; e, que é necessário direcionar o olhar da gestão escolar para resolver as dificuldades relacionadas à infraestrutura na disciplina de Educação Física. Espera-se, com isso, que a equipe de gestão analise a estrutura administrativo-pedagógica do momento, direcionando os recursos financeiros para a Educação Física e resolvendo, se não total, mas parcialmente, a infraestrutura caótica e deficitária imposta aos professores desta disciplina.

The purpose of this article is reflect about the importance of investment and a watchful eye by school management in the area of School physical education relationed tothe structural conditions and work materials, mankind’s relationships and the faculty’s accomplishments.Throughout the text, I present the aspects that must be considered by the school management for a full exploitation of the Physical Education discipline in school institutions. In summary I think Physical Education, as a discipline, belongs to the school's curricular structure and, consequently, to social environment; one of the most significant issues related to knowledge of this area is its poor use by school and by society, that suggests a misunderstood culture and no investment, not outlawing the curricular component and reinforcing the damage of knowledge; and, it is necessary directs the target of the school management to hang on difficulties aboutthe structure in Physical Education discipline. It’s supposed that school management staff analise the pedagogic and administrative structure at the moment directing cash resources to Physical Education within, in order to resolve, not hole, but part of this chaotic and broken structure imposed to this discipline teachers.
