Este artigo apresenta uma reflexão sobre o gesto de autoria na imprensa mato-grossense, tomando para a análise um texto publicado em 1918 na revista A Violeta. Filia-se à teoria da Análise de Discurso de linha francesa, buscando compreender como se dá a constituição do sujeito-autor em determinadas condições de produção. Sob esta perspectiva, considera que os sentidos são produzidos numa relação determinada pelo sujeito sempre afetado pela língua e pela história. Ou seja, o lugar do autor é determinado pelo lugar da interpretação. Assim, observa-se o modo como o sujeito-autor, interpelado pela ideologia feminista, denuncia as irregularidades dos governantes, defendendo o aperfeiçoamento da educação e do trabalho remunerado para as mulheres, sobretudo, o direito de votar.

This article presents a reflection on the gesture of authorship in the Mato Grosso press, taking to the analysis a text published in 1918 in the journal A Violeta (The Violet). It is affiliated to the French Discourse Analysis theory, seeking to understand how the constitution of the subject-author occurs under certain conditions of production. From this perspective, it is considered that the senses are produced in a relation determined by the subject, always affected by language and history. That is, the place of the author is determined by the place of interpretation. Thus, it is observed the way in which the subject-author, interpellated by the feminist ideology, denounces the irregularities of the governors, defending the improvement of education and the paid labor for women, above all, the right to vote.
