Há algum tempo venho investindo na análise do não verbal, o que tem contribuÃdo a se pensar
a imagem em sua discursividade, bem como o seu papel na constituição da memória. O papel
do acervo do pesquisador alemão Curt Nimuendajú na formação de um corpo de memória de
todas as etnias indÃgenas por ele pesquisadas é indiscutÃvel, entretanto o que nos interessa em
termos teóricos é entender, no momento, como as fotos e legendas trabalhadas se constituem
como gestos discursivos fundadores do trabalho do etnólogo. Com fundamentação teórica na
escola francesa de Análise de Discurso, investimos na compreensão de uma materialidade
discursiva especÃfica – a não verbal – e a sua relação com o polÃtico. Nesse sentido, o
trabalho, em longo alcance, ao analisar a imagem como discurso, busca entender a
textualização do polÃtico no âmbito do não verbal.
For some time I have been investing in the analysis of nonverbal, that it has helped to think
about the image in its discoursivity and its role in the formation of memory. The role of the
collection of German scholar Curt Nimuendajú in the constitution of a body memory about all
the indigenous groups that he has approached is indisputable, but what interests us is to
understand in theory, at the moment, as the photos and its captions can be understood as
discursive gestures founding the work of the ethnologist. Our theoretical foundations are
based on the French School of Discourse Analysis, and we intend to invest in the
understanding of a specific discursive materiality - the nonverbal - and its relationship with
the politician. In summary, our paper has the aim is to analyze the image as discourse, seeking
to understand the textualization of the politcal aspect of the the nonverbal.
