Hipertexto e multiletramento: revisitando conceitos

Resumo Português:

A criação de novos espaços para a comunicação, informação e interação na web tem
demonstrado a possibilidade de novas formas de representação da linguagem. Neste contexto,
a formação do leitor para interagir e interpretar a linguagem mediada pela tecnologia ascende
como uma necessidade social e linguística. A concepção de texto e de leitura no suporte web
tem sido redefinida por conta da fusão entre os recursos visuais e sonoros. A web ainda
possibilita o surgimento de gêneros digitais e a consolidação de uma nova organização textual
– o hipertexto, que acomoda as funcionalidades oferecidas pela tecnologia criando uma nova
concepção de leitura e de texto bem como, redefinindo os papéis do autor e do leitor. Diante
disso, este estudo tem o objetivo de ampliar as reflexões acerca da leitura que se realiza em
ambiente virtual e aponta o multiletramento como alternativa para a compreensão do uso da
linguagem mediado pela tecnologia.

Resumo Inglês:

The creation of new spaces for communication, information and interaction on the
Web has demonstrated the possibility of new forms of representation of language. In this
context, the education of readers to interact and interpret the language of technology mediated
rises as social and linguistic needs. The concept of text and reading the web support has been
redefined because of the merger between the visuals and sound. The web also enables the
emergence of digital genres and the consolidation of a new text organization - the hypertext,
which accommodates the features offered by technology creating a new conception of reading
and text as well as redefining the roles of author and reader. Thus, this study aims to deepen
the discussion about reading that takes place in a virtual environment and points the
multiliteracy as an alternative to the understanding of language use mediated by technology.
