O presente trabalho vem se processando desde setembro de 2015, utilizando metodologias teórico-práticas e participativas no Colégio Estadual Sinésio Costa (CESC), Riacho de Santana – BA. O projeto tem como instrumento norteador os sistemas agroecológico e orgânico, com inserção recente no Projeto Político Pedagógico (PPP) da escola e possibilitando maior participação da comunidade escolar, com a problematização, contextualização da temática e proposições de alternativas sustentáveis à oferta de alimentos saudáveis e produzidos em pequenos espaços. Além disso, a proposta pode ser executada nas escolas da cidade e do campo, elevando o conhecimento através de assistência técnica e minicursos para os pequenos e médios agricultores que produzem hortaliças nos seus quintais, pensando na multiplicação de saberes. Por fim, encontra-se sintonia desse trabalho com o Plano Territorial de Desenvolvimento Rural Sustentável do Velho Chico, na medida em que fomenta a capacitação em educação ambiental destinada ao público jovem, alunos, professores e à comunidade em geral e é pioneiro na promoção da Agricultura Urbana e Periurbana (AUP) na região.
This work has been carried out since September 2015, using theoretical-practical and participative methodologies in the State College Sinésio Costa (CESC), Riacho de Santana – BA. The project has as a guiding instrument the agroecological and organic systems, with recent insertion in the School's Political Pedagogical Project (PPP) and allowing greater participation of the school community, with the problematization and contextualization of the theme and propositions of sustainable alternatives to the supply of healthy foods and produced in small spaces. In addition, it finds a consonance to be developed in the city's schools as well as in the rural schools, raising awareness through technical assistance and mini-courses for small and medium-sized farmers who produce vegetables in their yards, thinking of the multiplication of knowledges. Finally, it is in line with the Territorial Plan for Sustainable Rural Development of the Velho Chico, fostering training in environmental education for young people, students, teachers and the community in general and is a pioneer in the promotion of Urban and Periurban Agriculture (AUP) in this region.
