O tempo histórico é tão produto do historiador como seu objeto. Partindo desta observação para o período medieval, queremos apresentar aqui, ainda que em um breve balanço historiográfico, as diversas formas e concepções de temporalidade ou atemporalidade, que se tem atribuído ao período medieval, e a partir destas, as múltiplas possibilidades e visões que já se apresentaram para entender e mensurar este período.
Historical time is as much a product of the historian as it is an object. Starting from this observation of the medieval period, we want to present here, albeit in a brief historiographical overview, the various forms and conceptions of temporality or timelessness, which has been attributed to the medieval period, and from these, the multiple possibilities and visions that are already presented to understand and measure this period.
