Frente aos desafios do nosso tempo e em face das constantes mudanças de valores, do poder das mídias sociais e das crises existências, que esfriam e desfalecem os relacionamentos nas esferas familiares, sociais e religiosas, a Igreja exerce um papel de grande relevância. Entre outras contribuições da igreja destaca-se a restauração e fortalecimento dos relacionamentos entre as ovelhas por meio do cuidado pastoral, cooperando para a ação do Reino de Deus na terra. O objetivo desse estudo foi refletir sobre “Importância do cuidado pastoral” dentro do contexto envolvendo “o Pastor, a Igreja e a ovelha”. Quanto aos procedimentos metodológicos trata-se de um estudo de caso sobre o cuidado pastoral de uma igreja local do município de Lucas do Rio Verde na região norte de Mato Grosso.
Faced with the challenges of our time and in the face of constant changes in values, the power of social media and existential crises that cool and weaken relationships in the family, social and religious spheres, the Church plays a role of great relevance. Among other contributions of the Church, the restoration and strengthening of relationships among sheep through pastoral care stands out, cooperating for the action of the Kingdom of God on earth. The objective of this study was to reflect on the “Importance of pastoral care” within the context involving “the Shepherd, the Church and the sheep”. Regarding the methodological procedures, this is a case study on the pastoral care of a local church in the municipality of Lucas do Rio Verde in the northern region of Mato Grosso.
