Este artigo visa apresentar as transformações da imagem de Moisés no judaísmo helenístico, elencando uma série de fontes judaicas sobre o Êxodo (Artapanus, Ezequiel o trágico, Flávio Josefo e Filo de Alexandria), enfatizando não somente as tradições literárias presentes nestes como ainda as caracterizações de Moisés, que ganha aspectos gregos enquanto um legislador sábio e corajoso, chegando ao ponto da divinização.
This article aims to analyze the transformation in the image of Moses in the Hellenistic World, listing a series of stories from Jewish sources about the Exodus (Artapanus, Ezekiel the Tragedian, Flavius Josephus and Philo of Alexandria), emphasizing not only the literary traditions present in these but also the characterizations of Moses, presented in a Greek way as a wise and courageous legislator, to the point of divinization.
