O presente estudo pretende analisar um conjunto de fontes ainda pouco exploradas na história de Goiás, que são os ex-votos das salas dos milagres do Santuário de trindade. A intenção é entender de que maneira se expressa a religiosidade popular através dos ex-votos, e perceber a reação do catolicismo oficial a esse tipo de manifestação. Isto porque, viu-se nos últimos anos uma tentativa de controle do imaginário através da imposição de uma “guerra às imagens” não oficiais. Assim, a sala de Ex-votos foi reorganizada no santuário de Trindade, em Goiás. Mas o próprio santuário, além dos santos de devoção alinhados em vitrais, optou por catolicizar as práticas votivas. Ao se entrar na nave do Santuário de Trindade, vemos releituras dos ex-votos expostas nos vitrais, visto que incluem elementos não contidos nas tábuas votivas originais.
This work analizes sources still unexplored by researches at the history of Goias State, Brazil: he dispositon at the ex-votos in the rooms of the miracles at the Sanctuary of the “Trindade-Goiás” in contrasct of the vitreous of the churh. Aims to analise how the religion is expressed throughout the popular ex-votos, and the reaction of official Catholicism to this event. In recent years, there is an evident attempt of controling the unofficial imaginary which produces and resignifies the elements deposit by the devots. The new dispositon and re-organization of the rooms of the miracles made by the priests stablishs a new form of the the imaginary attached, which determines the inclusion of elements not contained at the original votive tablets.
