IMPACTO DAS COMUNIDADES DE POBREZA RELATIVA NOS MANGUEZAIS: TRABALHADORES DA PESCA ARTESANAL INVISÍVEIS

O presente trabalho teve por objetivo avaliar a relação do homem com o manguezal, sendo esta muito antiga. Um dos principais problemas causados pelas ações antrópicas sobre os manguezais é justamente o desmatamento. Pelo ponto de vista socioambiental algumas comunidades ribeirinhas mantêm relação de grande dependência com os recursos oferecidos pelos manguezais. Os pescadores artesanais e, sobretudo, pescadoras no trabalho de extração de mariscos, são sujeitos invisíveis pela situação de negligência e desamparo institucional. Estas categorias profissionais que sobrevivem há milênios ainda não conquistaram o direito efetivo à saúde, em especial à saúde do trabalhador. Torna-se urgente a melhoria das condições de trabalho dessa população que realiza extensa jornada de trabalho com a realização repetitiva de intensos esforços físicos associados a precariedade econômica, devido a uma relação comercial injusta que são submetidos com a figura do intermediário que se apropriam da maior parte do fruto do seu trabalho, sem que haja uma reação do poder público no planejamento de estratégias que protejam, efetiva e definitivamente, essa classe de trabalhadores.

The objective of this work was to evaluate the relationship between man and mangrove, which is very old. One of the main problems caused by anthropic actions on mangroves is precisely deforestation. From the socio-environmental point of view, some riverine communities maintain a relationship of great dependence on the resources offered by the mangroves. Artisanal fishers and, above all, fishermen in the work of shellfish extraction are invisible subjects due to neglect and institutional neglect. These professional categories that have survived for millennia have not yet achieved the effective right to health, especially to the health of the worker. It is urgent to improve the working conditions of this population that carries out an extensive work day with the repetitive realization of intense physical efforts associated with economic precariousness due to an unfair commercial relationship that are submitted with the figure of the intermediary who appropriate the greater part of the fruit of their work, without there being a reaction of the public power in the planning of strategies that effectively and definitely protect this class of workers.
