O presente trabalho tem como cerne que o norteia a análise das consequências jurídicas e sociais da criminalização da violência psicológica contra a mulher pela Lei 14.188/2021 no que concerne ao combate da violência contra a mulher, objetivando averiguar as formas de violência contra a mulher presentes na Lei Maria da Penha, as alterações trazidas pela Lei 14.188/2021 e o que muda no combate à violência contra a mulher com a inserção do tipo penal 147-B ao Código Penal. Para tal, foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica que permitiu a seleção de artigos científicos para o estudo do tema, de forma a ter por base uma análise qualitativa dos conceitos apresentados e também foi utilizado o método documental. Desse modo, percebeu-se ao final que a criminalização da violência psicológica pela Lei 14.188/2021 representa avanço legislativo no que concerne à proteção das mulheres no ordenamento jurídico brasileiro, todavia há muito ainda a ser percorrido no que concerne à luta para a mitigação da violência contra as mulheres.

The present work has as its core that guides the analysis of the legal and social consequences of the criminalization of psychological violence against women by Law 14.188/2021 with regard to the fight against violence against women, aiming to investigate the forms of violence against women present in the Law Maria da Penha, the changes brought by Law 14.188/2021 and what changes in the fight against violence against women with the insertion of the criminal type 147-B to the Penal Code. To this end, a bibliographic review was carried out that allowed the selection of scientific articles for the study of the theme, in order to be based on a qualitative analysis of the concepts presented and it was also used the documentary method. In this way, in the end it’s realized that the criminalization of psychological violence by Law 14.188/2021 represents a legislative advance regarding the protection of women in the Brazilian legal system however, there is still much to be covered in terms of the fight to mitigate violence against women.
