Nos últimos tempos os avanços tecnológicos vêm provocando mudanças significativas, sendo que as pessoas com deficiência, essas mudanças se tornam ainda mais relevantes. Para essas pessoas, existem as chamadas Tecnologias Assistivas (TA) que vêm se tornado nos últimos tempos excelentes meios facilitadores no desempenho de tarefas cotidianas, permitindo ao deficiente ampliar suas atividades funcionais e consequentemente maiores autonomia e inclusão social. Nesse contexto, essas ferramentas auxiliam a integração dessas pessoas na escola, visando uma melhor aprendizagem. Este estudo mostra um trabalho de pesquisa voltado para inclusão escolar do aluno com deficiência, apresentando um breve relato sobre a história do deficiente no Brasil, a importância da inclusão com vista na construção da autonomia e traz uma discussão em torno das dificuldades das escolas municipais do ensino fundamental da sede, da cidade de senhor do Bonfim – BA, em efetivar de fato a inclusão. Portanto, foi feito uma pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo com ênfase no aspecto qualitativo. Os resultados apontaram que mesmo as escolas possuindo salas de recursos multifuncionais para alunos no horário oposto das aulas regulares, o portador de deficiência, ainda fica ocioso sem auxílio para realizar atividade, pois o professor possui limitação para trabalhar com o mesmo.

In recent times, technological advances have caused significant changes, and these changes have become even more relevant for people with disabilities. For these people, there are the so - called Assistive Technologies (AT), which have recently become excellent means of facilitating the performance of daily tasks, allowing the disabled to expand their functional activities and, consequently, greater autonomy and social inclusion. In this context, these tools help the integration of these people in the school aiming at a better learning. This study shows a research work aimed at the school inclusion of students with disabilities, presenting a brief report on the history of the disabled in Brazil, the importance of inclusion with a view to building autonomy and brings a discussion around the difficulties of municipal schools teaching of the headquarters, in the city of Senhor do Bonfim - Ba, in actually making the inclusion effective. Therefore, a bibliographic and field research was carried out with emphasis on the qualitative aspect. The results showed that even schools that have multifunctional resource rooms for students at the opposite time from regular classes, the disabled person is still idle without assistance to perform activities, as the teacher has limitations to work with them
