Este artigo intenta fazer uma análise da abrangência e eficácia dos direitos humanos num âmbito internacional e suas relações culturais, tomando por base e aprofundando-se nos efeitos da crença em bruxaria para as crianças nigerianas e as imposições culturais ali recorrentes. Trataremos acerca do mercado desenvolvido em torno das “crianças bruxas” e da Teologia da Prosperidade como fatores essenciais à análise do caso, inquirindo acerca de sua repercussão no país. No que tange ao campo doutrinário, o tipo de pesquisa adotado segue a vertente teórico-bibliográfica, valendo-se de acervos dominantemente públicos e de fácil acesso; além disso, serão explorados acervos digitais. No que diz respeito às conclusões alcançadas, percebe-se o impacto da veiculação de notícias e crenças, em especial quando existe um cenário de desestabilidade e desigualdade econômica e social, sendo necessária a atuação de órgãos estatais e organizações mundiais para conter os efeitos dessa veiculação.
This article attempts to analyze the scope and effectiveness of human rights in an international context and its cultural relations, building on and deepening the effects of belief in witchcraft to Nigerian children and there recurring cultural impositions. We will deal with the market developed around witch-children and Prosperity Theology as essential factors for the analysis of the case, inquiring about its repercussion in the country. In reference of the doctrinal field, the type of research adopted follows the theoretical-bibliographic aspect, using dominantly public and easily accessible collections; in addition, digital collections will be explored. Regarding the conclusions reached, one can see the impact of the dissemination of news and beliefs, especially when there is a scenario of economic and social inequality and destabilization, and it is necessary to act on the part of state organs and worldwide organizations to contain the effects of this dissemination.
