A inculturação da liturgia: Reflexões a partir da Exortação Apostólica Querida Amazônia

O processo de encarnação da liturgia cristã na cultura dos povos da Amazônia é uma temática de grande relevância. Ela tem sido objeto de investigação da reflexão teológica e do magistério atual da Igreja. Uma das demonstrações mais cabais disso é a recente publicação da Exortação Apostólica Pós-Sinodal Querida Amazônia. Um dos principais intentos desse documento papal é mostrar que a região amazônica – afetuosamente chamada de “querida” – é portadora de um rico potencial de beleza e mistério; ao mesmo tempo, ela tem sido dramaticamente ameaçada e desfrutada abusivamente. Papa Francisco privilegia quatro temas em sua abordagem. São temáticas diversas mas que trazem em comum um termo que as coloca sob a mesma égide: “sonho”. O nosso artigo se deterá em abordar alguns aspectos da quarta temática: “Um sonho eclesial”. Nela, o nosso escopo será aquele de matizar a importância da inculturação da liturgia nas comunidades cristãs amazônicas. O sacramento da Eucaristia se apresenta como o principal modelo dessa importância. O fundamento de tudo, porém, se esconde em uma indagação: o que se pode entender por “sacramento” a nível cósmico e antropológico?

The process of incarnation of the christian liturgy in the culture of the peoples of the Amazon is a topic of great relevance. It has been the object of investigation of theological reflection and the current teaching of the Church. One of the most obvious demonstrations of this is the recent publication of the Post - Synodal Apostolic Exhortation Querida Amazônia. One of the main intentions of this papal document is to show that the Amazon region – affectionately called “dear” – has a rich potential for beauty and mystery; at the same time, it has been dramatically threatened and abused. Pope Francis privileges four themes in his approach. They are different themes but they have in common a term that puts them under the same umbr ella: “dream”. Our article will focus on addressing some aspects of the fourth theme: “An eclesial dream”. In it, our scope will be to highlight the importance of the inculturation of the liturgy in the amazonian christian communities. The sacrament of the Eucharist is presented as the main model of this importance. The basis of everything, however, is hidden in a question: what can be understood by “sacrament” at the cosmic and anthropological level?
