O café da região do Cerrado Mineiro é atualmente um grão gourmetizado e certificado pelas principais certificadoras mundiais, bem como é coordenado pela Federação dos Cafeicultores do Cerrado. Em Minas Gerais o café possui um peso na economia, principalmente na geração de renda das famílias que o cultivam. Diante do exposto, o objetivo deste estudo é verificar a quantidade de documentos disponibilizados atualmente sobre o tema Cerrado Mineiro e analisar o impacto do selo de Indicação Geográfica e/ou Denominação de Origem nos estudos recentes sobre o tema. A metodologia deste estudo consiste em uma revisão sistemática sobre as pesquisas atuais voltadas a importância do selo de Denominação de Origem para o café, na região do Cerrado Mineiro. A busca foi realizada, primeiramente, nas plataformas de dados Scielo e Science Direct, posteriormente, foi utilizado o site de buscas Google Acadêmico. Os resultados mostram que o Google Acadêmico se comparado com as demais plataformas de buscas apresentadas, possui o maior quantitativo de artigos científicos relacionados ao Cerrado Mineiro, Indicação Geográfica e Denominação de Origem, sendo que por meio dos critérios escolhidos para a pesquisa foram filtrados 319 artigos científicos que se encaixam ao objetivo da pesquisa, por meio desses dados é possível identificar que através do selo de Denominação de Origem para o café, na região do Cerrado Mineiro, recentemente o quantitativo de artigos científicos sobre o tema é significativo

The coffee from the Cerrado Mineiro region is currently a gourmet bean and certified by the main world certifiers, as well as being coordinated by the Federation of Coffee Growers of the Cerrado. In Minas Gerais, coffee has a weight in the economy, mainly in the income generation of the families that grow it. Given the above, the objective of this study is to verify the number of documents currently available on the topic Cerrado Mineiro and to analyze the impact of the Geographical Indication and / or Denomination of Origin seal in recent studies on the subject. The methodology of this study consists of a systematic review of current research on the importance of the Denomination of Origin seal for coffee, in the Cerrado Mineiro region. The search was carried out, first, on the Scielo and Science Direct data platforms, later on, the Google Scholar search site was used. The results show that Google Scholar, compared to the other search platforms presented, has the largest number of scientific articles related to the Cerrado Mineiro, Geographical Indication and Denomination of Origin, and through the criteria chosen for the search, 319 articles were filtered scientific data that fit the research objective, through these data it is possible to identify that through the Denomination of Origin seal for coffee, in the Cerrado Mineiro region, recently the number of scientific articles on the subject is significant.
