Este trabalho é parte de
um projeto intitulado: “O Impacto
do Imigrante no ambiente urbano:
Uberlândia (1970-2000)”. A pesquisa
prioriza os imigrantes sírios e libaneses,
determinantes na transformação
do ambiente urbano de Uberlândia. É
importante analisar a influência da sua
vinda, pois eles contribuíram para a
expansão territorial e econômica, além
de influenciarem significativamente a
cultura regional.

This work is part of a
project entitled “The Impact of Immigrants
in the urban environment:
Uberlandia (1970-2000)”. The research
emphasizes the Syrian and
Lebanese immigrants, instrumental in
transforming the urban environment
of Uberlandia. It is important to analyze
the influence of their coming, as
they contributed to the economic and
territorial expansion, and significantly
influence the regional culture.
