Foram estudados, pelo método alométrico, os efeitos da restrição protéica no crescimento ponderal da tÃbia e do fêmur em coelhos da espécie Oryctolagus cuniculus. Foram utilizados 100 coelhos de ambos os sexos por um perÃodo de 42 dias após o desmame, divididos em grupo controle e grupo experimental com restrição protéica. Os resultados indicaram uma redução de 8,7% no crescimento de peso desses ossos no grupo com restrição/desnutrição.
The effects of protein restriction on the weight growth of the tibia and femur in rabbits of the species Oryctolagus cuniculus were studied by the allometric method. One hundred rabbits of both sexes were used for a period of 42 days after weaning, divided into control and an experimental group with protein restriction. The results indicated a decrease of 8.7% growth in bone weight of the group with protein restriction.
