O presente estudo tem por objetivo avaliar a produção de serapilheira em um fragmento de
Floresta Ombrófila Mista, na Floresta Nacional (FLONA) de Irati/Paraná, e correlacioná-
los com alguns dados meteorológicos. No monitoramento da produção de serapilheira,
foram instalados oito coletores de 1x1m (1 m2). As coletas foram realizadas mensalmente
e, o material retirado dos coletores foi seco, pesado e em seguida separados em três frações:
folhas, galhos e miscelânea. A deposição de serapilheira na Floresta Ombrófila Mista foi
8.099,6 (kg/ha/ano), sendo que a maior deposição ocorreu na primavera. Dentre os dados
meteorológicos, o que indicou maior correlação foi à temperatura.
This study aims to evaluate the litter production in a fragment of the Mixed Ombrophile
Forest, in the Araucaria Forest in the National Forest (FLONA) of Irati/Paraná and
correlate them with some meteorological data. In the monitoring of litterfall were installed
eight collectors 1x1m (1 m2). Samples were collected monthly, and the material taken
from the collectors was dried and weighed and then separated into three fractions: leaves,
branches and miscellaneous. The deposition of litter in the Mixed Ombrophile Forest
was of 8.099,6 (kg / ha/ year), and the major deposition occurred in the spring. Among
the meteorological data the one that indicated a higher correlation was temperature.
