A influência dos fatores sociais na alternância dos pronomes tu/você na fala manauara

Apresenta-se uma análise do uso dos pronomes tu/você no falar urbano manauara, com o objetivo de descrever os fatores sociais que condicionam a variação em situações discursivas de elocuções formais (EF), dialógicas (D2) e entrevistas (DID). Os corpora analisados pertencem ao banco digital do Projeto Fala Manauara Culta (FAMAC) e constituem-se de 30 gravações. São consideradas como variáveis sociais: gênero, faixa etária (20-35 anos, 36-55 e 56 em diante), escolaridade (ensino superior completo) e ser nascido e residente em Manaus há pelo menos vinte anos. Convergindo os princípios da Sociolinguística Variacionista e do Funcionalismo, a partir da proposta dicotômica do uso T/V e suas díades sociais de Brown e Gilman (1960), investigou-se a alternância tu e você, mensurando essas ocorrências, analisando os critérios de escolha entre as formas disponíveis para se dirigir a segunda pessoa e verificando os fatores sociais e ideológicos condicionadores destas escolhas. Em termos absolutos, os resultados obtidos apontam o predomínio da forma inovadora você (cerca de 65%); contudo, quanto mais informal for o contexto de elocução, mais provável será o uso de tu (70,5% nos D2 e 70% nas díades “amigos”).

Abstract: This work introduces an analysis of the use of the pronouns tu/você in the Manauara urban speech, with the objective of describing the social factors which influence the variation in discursive situations of formal utterances (EF), dialogical utterances (D2) and interviews (DID). The analyzed corpora belong to the digital data bank of the Projeto Fala Manauara Culta (FAMAC) and are made from a total of 30 recordings. It is considered as social variables: genre, age group, schooling, and be born and be living in Manaus for at least twenty years. Converging the principles of the Variationist Sociolinguistics and of the Functionalism, from the dichotomic proposal of the use of T/V and its social dyads of Brown and Gilman (1960), it was investigated the shifting between tu and você, measuring these occurrences, analyzing the criteria of choices between the available forms to refer to a second person and verifying the social factors and ideological conditioners of these choices. In absolute terms, the results obtained point to the predomination of the innovating form você; nevertheless, the more informal the elocution context is, the more probable is the use of tu.
