The work reports the thermal behavior of phenolic resins using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), as a function of the content of Hexamethylenetetramine (Hexa), industrially used as accelerator of the curing reaction. The curing exotherms were obtained from the corresponding scans and the transition rates and enthalpies of reaction were calculated, associating them with the percentage of Hexa present in the sample, varying from 1 to 20%.
