O trajeto que aqui fazemos tenta mostrar que há uma multiplicidade de estudos possíveis a partir da linguagem. Assim, marcamos uma relação da linguagem com a questão do sujeito por considerá-lo um campo fértil de reflexões cujo desenvolvimento se deu (ou se dá), de uma maneira ou de outra, graças ao seu vínculo com os estudos da linguagem. Devido à amplitude que a temática sujeito-linguagem pode acarretar, vamos nos limitar em esboçar um contraponto entre dois teóricos: de um lado, o reconhecido lingüista Èmile Benveniste e, do outro, o ilustre psicanalista Jacques Lacan

In this study we try to show that there are a multitude of possible studies starting from the language. So, we mark a relationship of language with the question of the subject by considering it a fertile field of ideas whose development was (or is given), in one way or another, thanks to its link with the study of language. Due to the extent of the theme subject-language, we will confine ourselves to draw a counterpoint between two thinkers: on the one hand, the recognized linguist Émile Benveniste, and in the other, the eminent psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan.
