This history of political, economic and social structuring of Latin America and the Caribbean shows a great diversity, under the most diverse aspects, of this huge geographical area of the American continent. Since the beginning of the XIX century there has been a struggle for the ideal of freedom from the domination of the European settles, conducted many times by their offspring, essentially by the Latin American population.
