Contrapondo-se às teorias clássicas dos movimentos sociais, que partem do pressuposto da externalidade do movimento frente às esferas institucionais, esse artigo buscou apreender sobre a relação entre política extrainstitucional e a política institucional. A partir dos dados de duas pesquisas, uma sobre a atuação do movimento negro e outra sobre a atuação da rede cicloativista, buscou-se mostrar como esses atores atuaram dentro das arenas institucionais, a fim de influenciar as ações governamentais. Como resultado, notamos que ambos os atores utilizaram repertório de interação com o Estado, sendo empregados repertórios que iam desde o confronto até a ação na arena estatal.
: Contrary to social movement classical theories, whose assume the externality of the movement regards the institutional spheres, this article sought to understand the relationship between both extra-institutional and intra-institutional politics. Based on two survey data, one of which deals with black movement militants actions and, another, with a bicycle advocacy network performance, this paper tried to show how these players acted within the institutional instances in order to influence governmental actions. As a result, we noticed that both movements used some repertoire to interact with the State, which ranged from the confrontation to the infiltration into the State arena.
