Analisaremos neste artigo o conto contemporâneo intitulado Branca de Neve, da autora
portuguesa LÃdia Jorge. Como pretendemos trabalhar a questão da intertextualidade se fará necessária
uma reflexão sobre o conto infantil homônimo imortalizado pelos irmãos Grimm. A fim de nos
aprofundarmos nas produções literárias em questão traremos as contribuições do psicanalista norte
americano Bruno Bettelheim e do teórico da literatura brasileiro Renato Cordeiro Gomes.
The object of this article is the contemporary short story called Branca de Neve written
by the Portuguese author LÃdia Jorge. Our main focus is going to be intertextuality between LÃdia
Jorge’s short story and the classic fairy tale with the same title written by the brothers Grimm. In order
to establish a more deep study we will consider the contributions of the North American psychoanalyst
Bruno Betthelheim and the Brazilian literature researcher Renato Cordeiro Gomes.
