Este artigo objetiva colocar em discussão as filosofias de Kant e de Nietzsche com relação ao problema da existência moral. Sem levar em conta as mediações de possíveis leituras entre a filosofia do pensador de Konigsberg e a interpretação de seu trabalho por Nietzsche, tentamos contrastar alguns textos selecionados de ambos. Esses escritos tratam do problema da existência moral. Após destruir a base na qual a metafísica costumava estar erigida, Kant ainda tentará dar um profundo fundamento ao comportamento moral. Nietzsche, por outro lado, tentará levar a teoria do iluminismo de Kant até a última consequência, ponto em que irá minar todo intento sustentável da moral. Nosso objetivo é re-novar esta discussão, já que acreditamos que ela revivifica uma das mais importantes e problemáticas questões da moderna filosofia, a qual é de grande influência ainda hoje.
This writing aims to put under discussion Kant ́s and Nietzche ́s philosophies regarding the problem of moral existence. Without taking into account the mediations of the possible lectures be-tween the philosophy of the thinker from Konigsberg and Nieztche ́s interpretation of his work, we try to contrast some selected texts of theirs. These writings argue the problem of moral existence. Once he destroyed the basis on which metaphysics used to be erected, Kant will still try to give a farreaching background to moral behaviour. Nietzche, on the other hand, will try to take Kant ́s enlightened theory to its last consequence up to such an extent, thathe will undermine every intent of moral sustent. Our target is to renew this discussion, since we believe it revivifies one of the most important and prob-lematic issues of modern philosophy, which is of great influence still today.
