Language and education are the main topics of interest in this article. Heretofore linguistic practices are the axis that allows us to closely study the social reality that subjects live. On the other hand, educational policies are a reflection of the role that the State seeks to impose on the population. Since the access to quality education is the mean either to boost or impede the development of a social sector. Therefore, when we study these areas it is possible to appreciate the current situation of the indigenous people in Mexico from an institutional and social perspective.
La lengua y la educación son los temas de interés en el presente artículo, ya que las prácticas lingüísticas son eje que permite estudiar de cerca la realidad social que viven los sujetos y las políticas educativas son un reflejo de rol que el Estado busca imponer a la población en los mismos; teniendo en mente que el acceso a una educación de calidad es un medio para impulsar o impedir el desarrollo de un sector social. Por lo tanto, al estudiar estos ámbitos es posible apreciar la situación actual de lo indígena en México desde una perspectiva institucional y social.
