O artigo analisa a Missa pro custodia creationis à luz da teologia litúrgica contemporânea, investigando em que medida ela expressa a relação entre Eucaristia e criação no contexto da recepção da encíclica Laudato Si’. A partir de uma abordagem integrada entre lex orandi e lex proclamandi, examinam-se os textos eucológicos e as leituras bíblicas propostas, evidenciando que a temática ecológica, embora teologicamente consistente, permanece predominantemente no nível da tematização. A ausência de prefácio próprio e de oração eucarística específica limita sua integração no nível anafórico, considerado central segundo a reflexão de Cesare Giraudo. Em diálogo com o Rito Zairense e com o horizonte do Rito Amazônico, sustenta-se que o desafio atual consiste em passar da tematização à configuração eucarística da ecologia integral.
This article analyzes the Missa pro custodia creationis in light of contemporary liturgical theology, examining to what extent it expresses the relationship between Eucharist and creation within the reception of Laudato Si’. Adopting an integrated approach between lex orandi and lex proclamandi, it studies both the euchological texts and the proposed biblical readings, showing that the ecological theme, although theologically consistent, remains predominantly at the level of thematic expression. The absence of a proper preface and a specific Eucharistic Prayer limits its integration at the anaphoric level, considered central according to the reflection of Cesare Giraudo. In dialogue with the Zairean Rite and the emerging horizon of the Amazonian Rite, the study argues that the current challenge lies in moving from thematic inclusion to a fully Eucharistic configuration of integral ecology.
